I’m slowly getting the courage to put my art back out into the world (and keep it out there).
It’s through my work I have been finding the greatest healing. When I stop TRYING to be a healer. When I stop TRYING to be an artist. When I stop TRYING to be spiritual.
If the goal is to be present in the moment, full of joy, love, and bliss… than get in your flow, do what you love, and find your path in your own way.
Don’t be hard on yourself in the process of healing. Your heart will eventually heal. Anyone who’s come out the other side of a breakup knows that.
Broken hearts do heal. And not all trauma in the heart that needs healing is from a romantic relationships ending. Sometimes, broken hearts heal just by waking up to the truth of who we truly are.
My favorite medium is pastels on large canvas. I love getting my hands dirty with the chalk and making a mess.
Below is a piece I create a few years ago that was inspired be a shamanic drumming guided visualization meditation in which I met with Gaia and she told me to share three stories. This is one of those stories.
